Many people want their own website, but have no idea how on earth to go about setting one up. Perhaps you’re afraid of what it might cost, or are too worried about how to maintain it once it’s been launched into cyberspace?
Well, fear not! Creating a website is far easier than you might imagine – and it (really) doesn’t have to be expensive…
It’s the digital age, and every business, however small, can and should have an identity online: a web presence. I can create something clean, simple, and self-manageable at a very low cost. And, I can do it all within a few weeks!
How is this possible?
Well, I cheat a little… Instead of building a website from scratch, which takes time (and costs money), I use existing (free) online software, to help me whip up a fresh new website for you within a few days!
By utilising existing ‘WordPress‘ web templates and tweaking them to fit your particular requirements I can keep costs down and deliver a simple website that, once created, you can continue to maintain yourself indefinitely.

Blog Meistress was created by Pia Taylor in 2008. With over 5 years experience in website content management for international travel website, Backpackers.com, Pia lives, works and plays online.
In 2006, she created Mother City Living, a blog-style website guide to ‘living green’ in Cape Town, the Mother City. Once she’d realised how versatile the blogging platform, WordPress, could be, and how easy it was to set up simple websites (with a bit of practice), she decided to start making them herself.
